BONUS: Hope for Healing from Domestic Abuse with Karen Gardner

This episode first aired in 2021 and received at award at the Virginia Association of Broadcasters Convention in 2022.  I wanted to share it with while I'm at the VAB Convention this year because the message is still important to share.

Karen survived a 30-year abusive marriage. She is an advocate and mentor for women who long to experience healing. Karen has been on her own healing journey and helps others find freedom, restoration, and redemption from the one who vowed to love you. Karen’s book Hope for Healing from Domestic Abuse is available wherever books are sold. Karen is married to Tom Gardner and they are co-owners of a private security company. Karen is passionate about healing, the Word, Tom, and coffee.

Karen shares her story and the lessons she has learned on her healing journey.  She also shares encouragement for those walking this painful road and educates us on how to walk that road with someone.  In an age where too many are still suffering silently, we need to shed light on emotional abuse and how we can help stop it and support those recovering.
